Synergym announces a gym in Rota, with no opening date confirmed

A forthcoming opening at Portalejos

Synergym has announced a new gym at Parque Comercial Portalejos, on Calle Valverde de la Vega, s/n. When checked on 3 October 2026, the official Rota page said the opening was coming soon, without specifying when the gym would open.

San Fernando advertises November; Rota has no month

The chain’s website shows a difference: San Fernando Junquera advertises a November opening. That forecast applies to that club and cannot be applied to Rota.

There is therefore no basis yet for reporting that the Rota gym will open in November or on any other specific date. Coming soon signals a future opening without a confirmed timeframe.

Long waits described by El Puerto users

Reviews attributed to Google users and reproduced by the Maestros del Combate directory for Synergym El Puerto de Santa María describe waits lasting months. Some mention preregistering in August 2025; another describes a forecast changing from June to August.

These are accounts collected by a third party. They do not independently establish the official postponement schedule or its causes, and do not show that Rota will experience the same delays. They do provide context for treating opening expectations cautiously.

El Puerto is now listed among September openings

In its third-quarter 2026 update, Synergym includes El Puerto de Santa María among the clubs opened in September. The complaints cited therefore concern the wait before its opening.

Anyone considering joining in Rota should check the official club page and wait for a published date before planning a gym change. A commercial promotion countdown should also not be mistaken for a countdown to the opening.
